What’s your vision for the James Street Cultural Precinct? The area is proposed to be a hub for Esperance culture, tourism & history – but we need your ideas to ensure we get it right.
Informed by the background review, engagement workshops & community consultation and guidance from the Shire, Place Laboratory formed a series of guiding principles:
From here, three scenarios are envisioned for the James Street Precinct:
Each option offers distinct elements and an overall vision for the area which addresses the needs and opportunities of various target audiences. Consultants have analysed the benefits of each option and provided a comparative analysis of each option for the Shire’s consideration.
We are now calling on the communities within our shire to give feedback and suggestions on these three scenarios by completing the James Street Cultural Precinct Survey.
We understand one scenario is not necessarily the be all and end all, so tell us what you like from each one and create a map of what you think the Precinct could look like, using the elements provided.
